Introduction to the Information, Advice and Assistance Workforce Competency Framework Session

This workshop is an introduction to the learning resources available to support the Competency Framework for the Information, Advice and Assistance Workforce.

This workshop is for employers, workforce development managers and officers within local authorities, social services and corporate, multidisciplinary or third sector services who are responsible for the Information, advice and assistance workforce.

This session is a great opportunity to:

• understand the competency framework
• discover the learning resources available
• get some guidance on how support workers to identify and develop the skills and competencies needed for their role
• raise awareness of how strengths-based practice can make a difference for people from the first point of contact.
