Take the next step in your Welsh language journey

Join the Croeso course from the National Centre for Learning Welsh and build your confidence using Welsh at work.

The Welsh Government’s More than just words (Mwy na geiriau) strategy sets out that by 2027, everyone working in health and social care should be able to use Welsh at a courtesy level. That means being able to greet and welcome people in Welsh – something that can make a real difference.

Croeso is a short, friendly course designed especially for the health and social care sector. You’ll learn simple, useful Welsh phrases that help you connect with the people you support and their families.

Even speaking just a little Welsh – ‘tipyn bach’ – can help people feel seen, heard and valued.

If you’d like to join an online Croeso course with a Learn Welsh tutor, here are the dates and links to register for November and December:

7 November – 10.30am to 11.30am
