Becoming an ambassador
If you are someone who’s currently working in social care or childcare and want to share your passion for care, we would love to hear from you.

As an ambassador you can share your passion for care, champion the people working in our sector whilst encouraging others to consider a career in care.
Whether it’s inspiring school leavers to consider the possibilities of a career in care or attending job fairs, you can help us transform the future of care.
This can involve:
- presentations to schools or college students
- informal talks or discussions
- attending career or job fairs, events or conferences.
Anyone who has a passion for working in care and wants to help others get into the sector can be a WeCare Ambassador.

An ambassador can be at any career level but will need to be committed, confident and be great communicators.
- the role is entirely voluntary
- you’ll be given a regional representative to help support and guide you
- you’ll be given a platform and the tools you need to share your passion with new people
- as well as developing your skills and confidence, you can further your professional development whilst also giving something back to a sector you’re passionate about.
- you’ll be making a big difference.
