The 2024 Have Your Say Survey is now live
Social Care Wales want to hear what you think about working in social care and things such as pay and conditions, your health and well-being, and what you like about working in the sector, as part of our 2024 Have Your Say survey.
They need as many of you as possible to complete the survey, across a wide range of social care roles.
The survey is being hosted on the Online Surveys platform and will be open until 22 February.
This will help shape the support them and their partners offer, so don’t miss your chance to have your say.
Everyone who completes the survey will be entered into a prize draw to win a £20 shopping voucher.

Tracking workforce trends
They’re carrying out this survey again so they can start to monitor trends in what people think about working in social care.
Even if you’ve left the sector, they’d love to hear about your experiences.
They also want to find out more about some of the themes that emerged from last year’s survey to give us a more detailed picture of what’s happening.
One of the ways they’ll do this is by holding interviews and focus groups with workers and employers. If you’d like to be involved in the interviews or focus groups, please e-mail the research team at SCWsurvey@bathspa.ac.uk.
Working partners
Bath Spa University and the British Association of Social Workers (BASW) are working with them to carry out this research.
All of your answers will be anonymous and they’ll share the findings on their website after the results have been analysed.
Get involved with promoting the survey
They're asking employers and other organisations to help us raise awareness of the survey and to encourage as many of the social care workforce as possible to take part.
They've put together some tools you can use to promote the survey, including a poster to display in your workplace, news copy to send to colleagues, and assets to share on your social media or internal channels.
All of these tools are available in English and Welsh and you can download them by clicking on the link below.
Discussing the survey during meetings with colleagues would also help us reach as many people as possible.
What were the results of the 2023 survey?
Social Care Wales announced the results of their 2023 pilot survey in October, which showed that social care workers feel valued by the people and families they support, but also undervalued by the public and underpaid for the work they do.
