Are you interested in leading a Team that delivers first-class administrative and general support to frontline social care services?
If so, we are looking for someone to effectively co-ordinate the business support function for the Department's Adult Social Care Division.
This permanent position would suit someone who has excellent office-based organisational skills and who has a flexible and adaptable approach.
As the Social Care Support Team Leader, you will support the effective delivery of statutory and non-statutory responsibilities relating to adult safeguarding, and the operational requirements of the 5 teams providing mental health, learning disabilities and substance misuse services in the community.
You will be expected to lead and manage a team, using appropriate relational, appreciative and solution-focussed processes and actions.
You will also take the digital lead for the service area through managing and developing the computerised information systems and resources, and participating in digital transformation projects.
Applicants should possess a relevant administrative qualification (minimum QCF Level 3 or equivalent) and either have a management qualification (e.g. ILM Level 3/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) or be willing to work towards this.
