Beatrice Webb Residential Home is looking for a Night Care Assistant to provide personal care and emotional and practical support to older people. We provide a homely atmosphere and ensure the rights, independence and well-being of our residents is supported and maintained.
Experience of working with older people would be beneficial although not essential. You must have knowledge of the principles that underpin quality care e.g. dignity and choice. You must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, possess clear understanding of the sensitive and confidential nature of the post and be courteous and responsive to the needs of individuals.
For the role, we ask that you have: - A Level 2 in Care (Previously known as NVQ 2) or a willingness to achieve the qualification within a specified timeframe.
- Knowledge of person-centered care
- The ability and willingness to work flexibly including weekends, bank holidays and sleep in duties.
