The Building Maintenance department is a vast, busy and varied service provider. It consists of a multi-disciplinary operational team within the Housing and Social Care Directorate, which is responsible for the maintenance, servicing, refurbishment and upgrading of a wide range of diverse assets and properties including Council Houses, Schools, public buildings and other historic and interesting assets.
We are seeking to appoint an Area Maintenance Officer on a full time, permanent basis. We will not only provide full support to enable you to take ownership of the role's key areas of responsibility, but in addition, we are fully committed to supporting your development in order for you to progress your career with us.

The successful individual will be working closely with a multidisciplinary team under the leadership of the Building Maintenance Operations Manager and the Building Maintenance Programme Manager to deliver and manage a diverse and wide range of exiting construction, refurbishments and maintenance projects from inception to completion.
