Wrexham Flying StartSpeech and Language Therapy – Band 4 Technical Instructor (TI)- Early YearsWe are looking to recruit a self-motivated, friendly, enthusiastic and organised individual to join our Flying Start Service as a Technical Instructor.Wrexham Flying Start is a programme funded by Welsh Government to support children aged 0-4yrs to have the best start in life and reach their full potential. We are a multi-disciplinary team who provide coordinated and intensive support to children and their families and work closely with partner agencies to ensure the needs of the individual children and their families are met.As a Technical Instructor you will be expected (under the direct supervision of a Speech and Language Therapist) to independently provide therapy both individually and in groups to children with a varied range of speech, language and communication needs. You will appropriately modify approaches within programmes to meet those needs and develop appropriate and engaging individual and group activities. You will also be involved in delivering training in a range of settings. The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate• Excellent communication skills• The ability to work as part of a team.• Quality Credit Framework qualification at level 3 e.g. NVQ related to Health & Social Care• Proven experience of working in relevant clinical specialty at diploma equivalent level• Documented evidence of participation in relevant clinical training activitiesThis job offers a rewarding and challenging clinical environment.
