Entries and nominations now open for 2023 Accolades awards
The 2023 Accolades awards are now open for entries and nominations and we want to hear about the good work that’s going on within social work, social care and childcare, play and early years in Wales.
If you’re a team, group or organisation in the public, private, voluntary or co-operative sectors in Wales, this is your opportunity to enter, so you can share your achievements and be in with a chance of winning a prestigious Accolade award.
We also have awards for individual workers. These are open to anyone working or volunteering in social work, social care or childcare, play and early years in Wales, who makes a positive difference to people’s lives through the care and support they provide.
We’re asking colleagues, employers, people using care and support or their carers, family and friends to nominate any workers they would like to see recognised in the categories for individuals.
There are five award categories – three for teams, groups and organisations, and two categories for individual workers.
The categories for groups, teams and organisations are:
-
Building bright futures for children and families
-
Looking after and improving workforce well-being
-
Supporting unpaid carers.
The categories for individual workers are:
-
Effective leadership award, for outstanding leaders in social care and early years and childcare
-
WeCare Wales award, to celebrate care workers who have a positive impact on people’s lives.
The closing date for entries and nominations is 5pm, Wednesday 2 November 2022.
