About the jobYou will have an understanding of the criminal justice system as it affects children and young people (aged 10 -17) who offend; a practical understanding of the principles of restorative justice and restorative approaches, have experience of working with disaffected children and young people and able to evidence building positive relationships with young people, their families and partner agencies.
What We Are Looking For From YouYou will have experience of undertaking assessments and managing complex cases, in addition to planning appropriate and targeted interventions to reduce the risk of offending/re-offending. You will also have the ability to write high quality reports including preparing sentencing proposals and will present information to the Courts when required.
