Job description

MyST is a therapeutic service for looked-after children who are at risk of being placed in out-of-area residential or institutional care due to their complex emotional and mental health needs. MyST provides intensive support to these children including the recruitment, training and specialised support of therapeutic foster carers.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Young Persons Practitioner to be part of our well-established service, ensuring the provision of a responsive, high quality and outcome focused service to children, young people, their families and partner agencies across Torfaen. You will be expected to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, delivering therapeutic intervention and support to children, young people, their carers and families.
