In this role, you will also be responsible for promoting events and initiatives, using both traditional and digital communication methods to reach as many carers as possible. You'll play a key role in managing our social media presence, updating websites, and working with local partners to share important information. Additionally, you'll collect and analyse data to understand the needs of unpaid carers, helping to shape future engagement and support strategies. This is an exciting, varied, and hands-on role where your creativity and passion for making a difference will shine.
About you We are looking for someone who is passionate about supporting unpaid carers and understands the importance of community engagement. You should be an excellent communicator, comfortable engaging with people from all walks of life, and confident in delivering events and activities. A background in event planning, community work, marketing, or social care would be beneficial, but above all, we need someone who is enthusiastic, organised, and proactive.
You'll need to be comfortable using social media and digital platforms to promote events and share information, as well as having the ability to analyse data to improve engagement strategies. This role requires someone who can work independently while also being a strong team player, willing to collaborate with colleagues, stakeholders, and local partners.
