Come and join our team Do you want to make a real difference to the lives of children and young people?
We are seeking Support Workers to work specifically with Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children in a newly established team. You will work as part of the team supporting young people in their homes, placements and community.
Working in partnership with service users, their carers and other professionals, you will support Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children and practice in a person centred and outcome focussed way. Each young person will have a plan that you will help to deliver, as well as responding to their individual support needs. As part of this role you will work with social workers and personal advisers to help young people meet their full potential, manage their tenancies, support with life skills, social activities and attend education.
You in turn will receive regular supervision and be part of a supportive environment in which there will be opportunities to grow personally and professionally.
The ability to travel within the county is essential.
