Work base: Coed Pella / Hybrid Working
Owing to service development we are seeking a Transport Supervisor within the Social Care & Education Service
The role: As one of the biggest employers in the area, we want you to join a service committment to delivering reliable and safe transport service.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: - Leading and managing the Transport Team of drivers and passenger assistants - Operating the duties of a Section 19 permit - Evaluating referrals for transport provision and route management - Promoting excellence in practice and a culture of open communication - Health and Safety compliance and risk management
About you: You will need to provide a proficient, reliable and consistent transport service to meet statutory responsibilities for people assessed needing care and support by the Department.
This is a role that will suit you if you can demonstrate being an organised and motivated person with a great eye for detail and with an interest in developing initiatives that enable the department to deliver efficient services to the people in Conwy.
You will be methodical, able to undertake legistaltive research and show committment to delivering a high quality provision.
