Rhondda Cynon Taf Council is excited to offer a full-time position for a Team Practice and Performance Manager within Foster Wales RCT's new Mainstream Support Team. This opportunity has arisen due to the process of a recent restructure which is anticipated to be concluded by January 2025.

Our service is transforming to improve the ability of meeting the needs of our fostering community, and the Mainstream Support Team is newly established to specifically support our Foster Carers and their associated needs.

Key Responsibilities: - Guide the development of our work in collaboration with a dynamic and enthusiastic management team.
- Manage and develop high standards of practice within the team.
- Provide regular supervision and support to team members.
- Contribute to the strategic and operational management of the service.
- Occasionally deputise for the Service Manager when required.
About You: - Committed to achieving positive outcomes for children and young people.
- Skilled in developing strong working relationships and fostering team cohesion.
- Experienced in social work with a strong understanding of the challenges and demands of the profession.
- Enthusiastic about continuous professional development and eager to take advantage of our dedicated Learning and Development Centre.
