Team Manager - North Wales Adoption Service G12: £48,710 - £51,802 per annum
Internal Only The North Wales Adoption Service (NWAS) is a regional service undertaking the recruitment, training, assessment and support of adopters, family finding and Intermediary Service on behalf of Conwy, Denbighshire, Flintshire, Gwynedd, Wrexham and Ynys Mon. An opportunity has arisen to apply for a Team Manager role within the North Wales Adoption Service. This is an exciting time to join the Service and we are keen to receive applications from individuals with the relevant experience and ideally those who have experience of working in a social care Management role. The Team Manager will lead and motivate a small dedicated staff team that will be responsible for the delivery of highly effective adoption services across North Wales. The Team Manager will be responsible for overseeing operational activities across Denbighshire and Conwy, family finding, assessment of potential adopters, and intermediary performance activity within NWAS and acting as the Panel Advisor to the joint Denbighshire and Conwy Adoption Panel in line with relevant legislation, regulation, guidance and good practice frameworks. The post will be hosted by Wrexham County Borough Council but will work across North Wales and will be required to link in with the National Adoption Service and other Regional Adoption Consortia For further information about the post, please contact NWAS Service Lead, mike.bell@wrexham.gov.uk An Enhanced DBS check & Social Care Wales registration is required for this position.
