Come and join our team We are recruiting a Team Manager to our Adoption Team based in Carmarthen - a busy team which plays a crucial role in ensuring that children find loving and supportive homes.
We are looking for an inspiring, enthusiastic, energetic and experienced person who can work collaboratively and guide and motivate a team to deliver a quality service to children, young people and families, holding social workers to a high standard of practice.
In return you will receive regular supervision, training and support and there will be opportunities for your professional development.
The successful applicant will have a social work qualification, extensive experience in children's social work practice, including adoption, and experience of supervising the work of others. This is an opportunity to use your knowledge, creativity and skills to build on our history of delivering high-quality adoption services in the region and oversee the day-to-day operation of the adoption service in Mid and West Wales, which is part of the National Adoption Service.
This is an exciting time to join a supportive, progressive and forward-thinking authority that values the experience and skills that you have. You will be a part of a wider Service that aims to keep children, young people and their families together wherever this is safe, and you will be supported every step of the way to do so.
If you feel you can bring your experience, ideas, and leadership skills to support our vision, we want to hear from you.
