As Team Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality care and support plans for children in need, those on the Child Protection Register, children and young people looked after, and cases under the Public Law Outline. You will also lead preparations for adoption, ensuring children receive the support and security they need.
Your role will include:
- Leading a team of social care professionals and support staff to deliver excellent outcomes for children and families.
- Ensuring all practice aligns with current legislation, the Corporate Business Plan, and service priorities.
- Managing caseloads and the effective provision of support plans across the team.
- Overseeing budget management and resource allocation to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and reflective supervision.
We're looking for a strategic and emotionally intelligent leader who:
- Has significant experience in child protection and statutory children's services.
- Demonstrates strong knowledge of relevant legislation, public law, and social work best practices.
- Can confidently lead, inspire, and support a multidisciplinary team.
- Has excellent communication, problem-solving, and budget management skills.
