We’re looking for a passionate and dedicated Team Leader (Senior Carer) to join our committed team at Dan Y Bryn, our residential care home in Pontardawe.
Full-time, permanent role (36 hours per week)
A flexible rota covering 24/7 service, including days, evenings, and weekends
Typical day shifts run from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM

Dan y Bryn is nestled in beautifully landscaped surroundings in the charming village of Ynysmeudwy, just outside Pontardawe. The care home has earned an 'excellent' CIW rating as a trusted and valued provider, placing residents needs at the heart of everything it does.
What is the role?
The Team Leader role involves day to day support, with duties such as:
Motivating staff to encourage and support residents. Ensure all individuals are safe and secure within the environment and ensuring that all safeguarding policies and procedures are always followed. Undertake supervision and observational practices with our team of Care Workers as directed. Maintain accurate records and document any concerns. What skills and experience do you need?

Motivation and passion to work with and enable people to live as independently as possible. A strong initiative and ability to work alone as well as being a great team player.
