We are recruiting a Senior Carer position which at Pobl we call Team Leader, to join our passionate and committed team at our residential care home, Dan Y Bryn in Pontardawe. We have a 36 hour, Full-time, Permanent position available. This service needs to be staffed 24/7 so you will be required to work various shift patterns including days, evenings, weekends as part of a rolling rota. What is the role?
The Team Leader role involves day to day support, with duties such as:
Motivating staff to encourage and support residents. Ensure all individuals are safe and secure within the environment and ensuring that all safeguarding policies and procedures are always followed. Undertake supervision and observational practices with our team of Care Workers as directed. Maintain accurate records and document any concerns. What skills and experience do you need?
