Vacancies have arisen across adult services in Newport. There will be a range of opportunities across the adult teams including community and hospital based work. The teams fully embrace the spirit of the Social Services Well Being (Wales) Act 2014; ensuring citizens of Newport are at the centre of work we do, building up relationships with partner agencies in the community, working jointly with health, looking at developing new and innovative services. The teams work in an outcome focussed way, working with people to achieve their individual outcomes, and ensures that what matters to each individual is captured in the work we do. The team welcomes new ideas and creativity in Social Work practice. Opportunities will be provided for career development.

This post is exempt from Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974) and is subject to a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

You will need to be registered with the Care Council for Wales.
