We pay an attractive salary of £17,286.49 - £18,425 (25 hours) and £20,743.78 - £22,110 (30 hours) and offer access to training and development opportunities.There are also Casual / Relief positions available for this role at a salary of £14.36 per hour. Duties will include providing help and guidance and deliver all aspects of personal care as needed by tenants /individuals /residents, ensuring the individuals privacy, dignity, respect, choices, independence and self esteem are maintained at all times. You will also provide support with daily living tasks, accessing the community, holidays, supporting people to live their best life.
The postholder will assist in the risk management of individuals by adhering to Risk Assessments and Management Plans in conjunction with the policies and procedures of Caerphilly County Borough Council.
For the role, we ask that you have: - The ability to achieve a Level 2 or 3 qualification in Health and Social Care within an agreed timescale.
- An understanding of the principles that underpin a quality care environment i.e. Privacy, dignity, respect, choice, independence and rights.
- Experience with people who require support and assistance with all aspects of personal care, daily living and social skills.
- The ability to work shifts on a rota basis, and work flexibly, including weekends, bank holidays and sleep in duties.
