Service Manager- Mental Health & Substance MisuseLocation: Ty Elai, Williamstown, CF40 1NYAs a result of recent changes Adult Services in Rhondda Cynon Taf, an opportunity has arisen for a Service Manager in Mental Health and Substance Misuse Social Work services.
The Service Manager post will cover Mental Health and Substance Misuse Social Work services and involve multi agency work with Health and Third Sector services to continually develop our services.
This is an exciting time for Adult Social Care Mental Health and Substance Misuse services as we are currently expanding our Substance Misuse Social Work services and will be working with health partners in relation to delivery of Community Mental Health Services.
We are looking for individuals with drive, enthusiasm, a proven track record and a solution focussed attitude to join our team.This role is varied and offers an excellent opportunity for someone looking to increase their management skills and experience.
The focus of this role will be operational management of three Community Mental Health Teams and our expanding Substance Misuse social work service. It will focus upon two key service areas. Working with other service areas and partner organisations and in particular health in a co-productive way will be key to the delivery of positive outcomes.
The Service Manager will be responsible for leading and ensuring effective service delivery, targeting resources as efficiently as possible to achieve maximum impact. As part of the role, you will be the Approved Mental Health Professional Lead for the Local Authority.
The successful candidate will also have a sound knowledge of legislation and best practice and, most importantly, a value base which is committed to providing the best services to individuals and carers.
