Job description

The Kinship and Permanence Team in Bridgend assesses and supports Kinship Foster Carers and Special Guardians. The Senior Practitioner role is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast paced, growing service supporting foster carers and Guardians to provide the best possible care to children.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Practitioner who has excellent knowledge of regulations, legislation and guidance related to Kinship care and permanence. Experience of Court work is essential for the role, which will involve close working with the legal department and children's teams. The role will include the supervision and performance management of social workers and support workers as well as quality assurance of assessments, reviews and support plans.
