Owing to development opportunities within the Business Performance & Finance Service we are searching for our new Senior Officer: Management Support and this could be the role for you!
The role:
As one of the biggest employers in the area, we want you to join our close working friendly team to lead and focus on developing initiatives that enable us to deliver support services to the people in Conwy and internal customers.
The post holder will be responsible for managing the Social Care and Education Management Support Team, which comprises of secretarial and administrative business support to the department's senior management, to ensure a high level of service is delivered both internally and externally.
This is a new role that will give you the opportunity to work with all areas of Social Care & Education Services. An understanding of the department can be 'learnt on the job' if no previous experience of the sector has been gained.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Lead and manage a team of Secretaries and Business Support Officers.
- First point of contact for any enquiries to the department's senior managers
- Co-ordination of the work of the team, undertake quality assurance and identify opportunities for improvement.
