Come and join our team Carmarthenshire County Council are pleased to advertise for the post of Regional Adoption Manager. Carmarthenshire is the host Local Authority for the regional adoption collaboration (RAC) for Mid and West Wales (covering Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire and Powys).
This is a key strategic leadership post responsible for the management of the Adoption Mid and West Wales RAC and for the safe delivery of high-quality, effective adoption services across the region.
The post holder is a key decision maker and should model the Council's commitment to improve the lives and the futures of children and young people. Working within a trauma informed, systemic and attachment aware practice model you will ensure this strength and relationship-based approach keeps children at the forefront of what we do, within a whole family focus.
You will work closely alongside our partners, enhancing connections between community services, education, health and statutory social work to develop new ways of working together and deliver better and more seamless services.

Candidates will be required to evidence experience at both strategic and operational levels and must possess a professional social work qualification, have extensive post qualifying experience within Children's Services and be registered as a 'Social Worker' with Social Care Wales.
