Come and join our team Due to two recent secondments there is an exciting opportunity to recruit two Recovery Practitioner posts within the Substance Use and Recovery Team. Based in Llanelli but covering all of Carmarthenshire, the Recovery Practitioners will work closely with Social Workers to complete assessments and support people with complex needs. Main duties are:
To assist the social work staff in the team to fulfil their responsibilities in order to provide better outcomes for adults with complex needs.
To undertake assessments and care management of service users, families and carers.
To work collaboratively across Carmarthenshire to promote and develop community services.
Posts are temporary to cover secondments, 1 post until June 2025, and 1 post until June 2026.
The successful candidate will be motivated, enthusiastic, and a good team player and expected to work alongside Social Workers to manage a small caseload of complex cases and work in partnership with other professionals and agencies.
