Personal Assistant - Direct Payments

A Personal Assistant can be employed using Direct Payment funds to help support and enable people in their own homes and community.

A Personal care Assistant is required to support a Lady from the Pontypool area to access community activities. She enjoys swimming, bowling and shopping. Also visits to local attractions and walking to enjoy the surrounding wildlife are essential when the weather allows!!

The role will also include support with daily living tasks including personal care whilst out for the day.

You will be required to work 12 hours per week, the days\/times can be negotiated with the employer if you are successful for an interview, but they will include some evenings.

The successful applicant will hold a full driving license and have access to a vehicle. Previous experience is preferred but not essential.

Rate of pay £13.83 per hour.(gross)
