Job description
60% (mornings $ú Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. All day Wednesday).Maendy Primary are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and inspirational teacher to work in our Morning Nursery provision, delivering and supporting teaching and Learning.
Maendy Primary is at the heart of the Community. The school has an ALN Resource Base, a BESD provision and from September, a part time Nursery. The successful candidate will be joining Maendy Primary at a very exciting time as we have recently moved to our new school building. This new development has provided us with the opportunity to expand one-form to a two-form entry with our pupil numbers expected to increase accordingly.
Candidates will be expected to:
- Work effectively and independently, using your own initiative, as well as being reliable, resilient, flexible and proactive.
- Effectively work together as a member of our strong team and contribute fully to school life.
- Work under the guidance of the school leadership team.
- Plan, prepare and deliver learning activities for whole classes, individuals and groups;
- Monitor pupils and assessing, recording and reporting on pupils' achievement, progress and development.
- A calm and approachable manner is essential along with sound communication skills.
- Enjoy working with children and will show a commitment to helping every child reach their full potential.
