Come and join our team Lead Officer Community - INTERNAL APPLICANTS ONLY We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated individual to join our esteemed Commissioning team at Carmarthenshire Council.
Carmarthenshire Council commission a wide range of care services both from internal and external providers. Procurement of Services and Quality Monitoring is a key function to our Commissioning activity that measures the effectiveness of the care services provided under the contract held between the Council and Providers and allows us to develop services fit for the future.
As the Lead Officer Community, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the procurement and quality monitoring of care services for vulnerable adults. Your contributions will help us maintain high standards, achieve key performance measures, and secure value for money in our contracts. In this role, you will collaborate closely with various care and support providers, along with internal and external health and social care professionals. You will lead the review and improvement of practices and procedures, innovate IT systems for service enhancement, and build strong relationships across departments and organisations.
