With a strong emphasis on collaboration and accuracy, the role ensures smooth operational delivery across Adult Services, contributing to a well-supported and effective workforce. About you: • Strong organisational and administrative skills - to manage recruitment processes, onboarding, meeting coordination, and system updates efficiently. • Attention to detail and accuracy - essential for maintaining staffing structures, updating HR systems, and handling confidential correspondence. • Excellent communication and liaison abilities - to work effectively with HR, Finance, Employment Services, and internal teams like Operational Team Managers and Supervisors. • Proactive problem-solving mindset - to take initiative in resolving queries, supporting lone working arrangements, and ensuring smooth transitions for new staff. • Commitment to continuous improvement - aligned with the post's purpose of supporting statutory and improvement work within Adult Services. • Passion for supporting people and services - especially in a public service context, where the role contributes to the wellbeing and effectiveness of adult social care teams. What you will do: • Lead and manage recruitment processes for both permanent and agency staff, including coordination with HR, Finance, and Employment Services. • Support onboarding by completing new starter actions and ensuring equipment is ordered and available. • Maintain and update staffing structures and personnel records on the council's people management system. • Coordinate meetings and minute complex staff-related discussions, working closely with Operational Team Managers and Adult Services Supervisors. • Handle confidential correspondence and draft responses to enquiries and complaints on behalf of Operational Team Managers. • Ensure lone working arrangements are in place and up-to-date, including registration and training on the Personal Safety Register.
