We are seeking an individual who has the ability to manage a wide range activities including chairing and training responsibilities, providing an independent scrutiny of the arrangements for the Children and Young people who have a care and support protection plan and those looked after by the Local Authority.
It is essential that you possess comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the legislative framework and polices in relation to safeguarding children. In addition, you must be able to provide evidence of your excellent written and oral communication skills, the ability to make an impact on children and families to promote positive outcomes and influence the professional networks that you work within.
A good understanding of performance management and key indicators for statutory accountability and processes is essential in order to evidence good practice.
We are looking for an Independent Safeguarding and Reviewing Officer with demonstrable skills to lead, motivate and to achieve positive outcomes for the children in Conwy.
This role offers flexible working options for a work life balance. This can include adjusting your working day and hybrid working, ie a balance of office and home working.
