Conwy County Borough Council is looking to recruit experienced Family Therapeutic Workers, Occupational Therapists, or Community Psychiatric Nurses, to be part of our Strengthening Families Team.
This is an established team committed to delivering evidence based interventions to families and young people in crisis. It is an opportunity to work intensively with families supporting them to make positive changes in their lives. We work in partnership with young people and their families, making sure that their voices are heard and ensuring that young people and their families recognise their strengths and we support them to build on their strengths.
The Family Therapeutic Workers will be part of a multidisciplinary team, working closely with Social Workers from Conwy's child protection team, Family Centre Workers and CAMHS delivering a range of therapeutic interventions to improve their situations.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a family focussed team who truly believe that families and young people have the strengths to change their lives. If you believe you have the skills, the personality and the commitment to work in this way please come and join us.
Due to the nature of the work, it will be necessary to obtain a satisfactory disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
