Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children and families? Do you have the skills to assess risk, provide early intervention, and work effectively in a fast-paced multi-agency environment? If so, we want to hear from you!
We are looking for a dedicated Family Intervention Worker to join our dynamic Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) team. The MASH team plays a vital role in safeguarding children and young people by bringing together professionals from a range of services to share information, assess risk, and ensure timely and appropriate responses to safeguarding concerns.
As a Family Intervention Worker, you will: • Support families at the earliest opportunity to prevent escalation of need. • Undertake focused, short-term interventions to improve family resilience and outcomes. • Work closely with social workers, education, health, and police colleagues to assess and respond to safeguarding concerns. • Engage with children, young people, and their families to understand their needs, strengths, and risks. • Help formulate action plans and contribute to decision-making within a multi-agency setting.
What We're Looking For We're seeking someone who is: • Passionate about early help and safeguarding. • Experienced in working with children and families in a supportive or intervention-based role. • Knowledgeable about child development, risk factors, and protective factors. • A strong communicator and team player who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-agency environment. • Resilient, empathetic, and able to manage complex family dynamics.
What We Offer: • A supportive and inclusive team culture • Ongoing professional development and training opportunities • Generous annual leave and pension scheme • The opportunity to make a real, lasting impact in the community
