About the job The postholder will be responsible for supporting the Family Gateway Team Leader in the operational management of the Family Gateway team, providing guidance and supervision to Contact Officers and ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of services to the public. The role involves handling complex cases, supporting team development and acting as a point of escalation for Contact Officers.

The right individual will also be able to recognise whether an individual is at risk and be able to consult and liaise with Social Workers and with other professionals or partner agencies as required.
