Job Description
Purpose of Post
Ensure that the people of Gwynedd are at the centre of everything we do. •
Engage with stakeholders in order to maintain relationships and raise the profile of the Unit.
Assist the Unit with all of the Unit's marketing work, creating marketing material and ensuring that the service brand is clearly communicated and maintained.

Main Duties
Assist Family Information Officers with the marketing of all of Teulu Gwynedd's work by ensuring that the Teulu Gwynedd brand is reflected in all publicity campaigns. Support will need to be secured to ensure that the following are consistently achieved:
i. regularly update the Gwynedd Children and Families Services pages on the Council's website, assisting officers with relevant tasks in order to meet consistency requirements on the Children Services pages, e.g. Task Group
ii. assist the administrative assistants to follow branding guidelines for promoting the Unit's information on social media, namely Facebook and Instagram
iii. display information on centre notice boards
iv. produce publicity materials
v. keep a stock of marketing materials
Produce engagement and marketing material in accordance with the Unit's brand guidelines for promoting a wide range of services and events hosted by the Unit's teams.
Use Canva software and the Unit's branding package for maintaining consistency and building the Unit's brand.
Maintain the digital promotion platforms ensuring that a range of projects are covered effectively on the Unit's social media and the Council's website.
Ensure the maintenance of the social media posts' schedule by completing a regular analytical review and working towards getting more followers and high reach on the Unit's social media.
Identify current marketing trends and attend training to ensure consistent use of the latest software.
Organise and run outreach sessions to raise the profile of Teulu Gwynedd across the authority, and support/mentor families who find it difficult to access relevant information digitally. Support intervention/service providers from all sectors to ensure their information is available to families in the county (maximising the use of resources such as DEWIS, the Council Website and social networks). •
Ensure support for the Unit with campaigns to raise awareness of the wide range of support available through our social media.
Responsibility for responding to or rerouting enquiries from families and childcare providers to relevant officers as required.
Represent the Unit at regular events for the promotion of the Unit's services.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with the public, internal officers across Local Authorities, statutory and voluntary agencies, and organisations in the field of children and families. •
Any other duties relevant to the job at the request of the manager.
