Services for Older People
16 hours per week
We provide person centred and outcome focused care to people who are supported in a permanent or short term residential care placement in Bryn Y Cae. Supporting people to maintain their independence, regain, improve and maintain skills of daily living, provide the best outcomes for people who need care and support in a safe environment.
You will work as part of the in house domestic team to ensure the management and standards of cleanliness and Infection control are maintained. Your duties will include, cleaning all communal areas throughout the home, main corridors , cleaning of residents personal rooms , support the main kitchen during the hours of 4 to 8pm when required , operating electrical equipment, mechanical and laundry. Taking responsibility for your wellbeing and being aware and adhering to Health and Safety and Food Hygiene Policies and Procedures

You will be required to work weekends, and if required bank holidays. The shifts will be arranged by the manager and are subject to change to meet the demands of the service.
The ability to greet customers through the medium of Welsh is a requirement for this post.
