Come and join our team Are you looking for a new challenge?
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and suitably qualified Officer to join the Family Information Service, Childcare and Play Team to promote the Childcare Offer across the county to raise parent awareness of the Offer. You will provide support to eligible working parents to access their Childcare Offer entitlement through the National Digital Service and deal comprehensively and accurately with various Childcare Offer related enquiries.
This is an engaging role working with new and existing registered childcare providers and third party organisations across the county and regionally with neighbouring Local Authorities.
You will be responsible for supporting Childcare Providers through the delivery of online training sessions and supporting providers in applying for additional support grant. You will regularly attend Welsh Government meetings, review data and prepare reports as required.
We are looking for a fluent Welsh Speaker as you will be required to deal with bilingual enquiries and deliver presentations and training bilingually.

DBS level: An Enhanced with Barred List Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will be requested for this job. It is an offence to apply for the role if the applicant is barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children or adults at risk
Welsh language level - Verbal: Level 5 - You will need to be able to communicate fluently in Welsh. Reasonable support can be provided on appointment to reach this level.
