Extra Care - Casual Social Care Workers
Shifts (06.50 - 14.20, 14:10 –21:40 and night shift, 21:30-7:00)
Based in Cwrt Yr Orsaf, Union Street, Pontypridd
Salary: GR5- £13:90 per hour plus enhancements for weekends and unsocial hours.
We are currently seeking to recruit enthusiastic and self-motivated individuals to join our team of Social Care Workers to provide care and support to tenants over the age of 50, to live independently within our Extra Care facility.
Experience of supporting people within a social care setting is desirable but not essential, as successful applicants will be expected to bring their own life experiences and skills to the role. You will be provided with an induction, ongoing training and supervision to carry out your work effectively.
We are interested in hearing from people who can be dedicated, reliable and willing to learn new skills, and have the ability to use their own initiative. Successful candidates will also be supported to register with Social Care Wales and the strong partnership we have with our dedicated in-house training department ensures that learning support meets the needs of our staff on an individualised basis. We will also reimburse payment of registration fees promptly.
The service operates 365 days a year and casual staff are expected to offer in advance as much flexibility as possible to cover days, afternoons and nights shifts.

Successful candidates will be required to undertake an Enhanced DBS check.
