The Commissioning Division has a key role in ensuring care providers comply with their duty to provide effective, reliable and safe services while securing value for money. With increasing focus on the commissioning function, it is incumbent that the Authority ensures contract compliance and contract management to ensure service delivery meets commissioning expectations and that it operates sound and prudent systems for contract and fee negotiations.
The Broker post is responsible for arranging Community Care placements for Service Users assessed in need of Community Support under the Social Services and Wellbeing Act 2014. The role will include working closely with the Community Resource Teams professionals for arranging those placements.
This is a role that requires excellent communication and inter-personal skills to build positive working relationships with a range Professionals.
