Assistant Team Manager -team For Older People - Internal Only

Permanent - full time

You will drive forward quality social work practice and performance through the daily operational management of the team and supporting the Team Manager to manage the workload and through-put of cases. You will have skills/knowledge in managing people effectively, including employee engagement, and take a coaching and reflective approach to supervision to enable others to improve their practice, manage risks and promote outcome achievement in line with departmental policy and the Social Services and Wellbeing (Wales) Act.

The Older People's team is involved a number of projects to improve services to our citizens, so it's a great time to join the team and contribute to our ongoing development. An understanding of multi-disciplinary working and working with individuals, their families and unpaid carers is essential.
