Job Description
To maintain a caring environment for service users through high standards of professional practice that are conductive to the physical, emotional, social, intellectual and spiritual needs of the service user.
To ensure that each service user receives care appropriate to their individual needs as dictated by the care plan and inform the senior support worker or manager of any changes/improvements that could be made.
To ensure that service users medications are administered as prescribed by the appropriate professional and recorded as required.
Previous experience working in domiciliary care would be desirable but not essential as training would be given in house
Minimum level NVQ 2 Health & Social Care or QCF Level 2 in Health and Social Care would be desirable but not essential as Opportunities are available to enroll on the new WJEC Level 2 qualification.
