We are seeking an Activities Co-ordinator who will make a real difference to the lives of our residents.

This is an exciting opportunity to really get to know our residents and provide them with a variety of stimulating activities that not only promote physical but also mental and social wellbeing. The opportunities are endless in terms of what activities you could implement and we would be interested to hear your ideas and suggestions.
You will ensure that all programmes continually meet the needs of each individual resident, reviewing and amending when necessary to changing needs.
Applicants should have previous experience and knowledge of the needs of older people, including people who have dementia. Able to communicate and adapt their relationship and work flexible, using their own initiative and within a team.
Demonstrate a creative approach to planning activities whilst emphasising and understanding the needs of older people are essential traits.
Finding a balance between arranging activities that the residents like doing and activities that will expose them to new experiences. Provide assistance and support in attending classes and groups and ensuring all necessary materials are available for activities.
Prepare and implement a schedule of activities for other members of staff to refer to. Support the residential home through marketing events e.g. fayres, birthday parties etc.
The right candidate has to be flexible with hours and weekend work may be involved. This position is full/part time depending on the right candidate.
You must have basic IT, administration and numeracy skills to set up remote zoom calls and keep accurate records using our e-system
