Support Working – Newport (Caerleon) – Full Time/ Part Time Temporary Assignment Your new company My Client is looking for a Support Worker with the passion to work with our fantastic teams in one of our residential services in Caerleon. This particular setting is a residence that houses young people with Autism and works to support them and their families and carers. Service users in this residence can display challenging behaviour so experience with this is desirable for this role. Your new roleIn this job you will be helping individuals achieve independence and personal goals as well as supporting them to integrate into their community. You will develop individuals home making skills and personal chore and help in transforming lives and achieving results for Autistic Adults. There are both Full Time and Part time shifts available and they will be morning, evening and long day across 7 days, and you will need to be fully flexible to all shifts and the placement is ongoing.What you’ll need to succeedTo be successful in this role you will need to have at least 6 months experience working in social care and be passionate about helping people who are living with Autism. You will need full eligibility to work in the UK as well as having access to valid references. PBM training is desirable, but not essential. The service is in Caerleon, so you will need to have transport to this area and be able to get there for early shifts.
