Contract: Permanent
Location: Merthyr
Hours per week: 10-20 hours per week. (potential for additional support hours)
Working Pattern: Weekdays & Weekends (shift pattern to be confirmed)
Pay per hour: £17-18.50 per hour (depending on experience)

I am 5 years old and have complex health needs because of my medical condition. I require 24/7 1:1 support in all areas of daily life. You will be part of my amazing team which is led by my mum and case manager.
I am described by the people who know me best as ‘amazing, determined, funny and loving’, I am sociable and have a great sense of humour. I need lots of support daily and also overnight as I can be restless. I love funny stories.
As a Team Leader you will have the abilities to lead my support team by being organised at managing paperwork, ensuring staff rotas are up to date and supervising the care team. You will be professional when communicating with my therapists and family members and advocate on my behalf. You will be expected to contribute to plans and risk assessments necessary for safe care to be delivered, ensuring these are up to date and reviewed on time. You will be an integral part of the team.
As the Team Leader you’ll have effective communication skills and be able to converse with me, my family and case manager when required.
A full induction and training will be provided. This role is subject to an Enhanced level DBS.
ESSENTIAL INFORMATION
To join me as a Team Leader it is essential you: - • Be able to drive and have use of a car. • Have the ability to work your hours flexibly. • Good IT, accuracy, and attention to details skills. • Experience of supporting and managing a team.
