A Vacancy at Aneurin Bevan University Health Board.This is a full time post based within ABUHB Community Dental Service. The post holder will be required to operate in a range of locations across Gwent and responsible to the lead for Oral Health Improvement for Vulnerable Adults.The post holder will work to support theGwen am Byth – a lasting smile programmeto develop and deliver comprehensive oral health promotion and training for vulnerable adults with complex/medical and physical needs and their carers. The role will include working autonomously to deliver Gwen am Byth programme for vulnerable adults living in the community to a range of Health and Social care teams, education and healthcare professionals, domiciliary care providers, community groups and individuals who support vulnerable adults in the community.The post holder will also be required to work with lead for oral health improvement for vulnerable adults and the existing Oral Health Promotion team for vulnerable adults.The post holder will be guided by national, local policies and local health improvement programmes. Guidance will be available as required.We are looking for an enthusiastic registered Dental Nurse trained in the application of fluoride varnish and who either has an Oral Health promotion certificate or a Special Care Dentistry certificate.The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.Closing date: 17th December 2020This advert closes on Thursday 17 Dec 2020
