Adult Care Home Nurse
As a Care Home Nurse, you’ll provide person-centred care to residents often with complex health needs.
Being a Care Home Nurse
You’ll work as part of a team with other care professionals by focusing on residents’ health conditions and the impact they have on their participation in social activity.
Considering best clinical practice, you’ll support resident’s choice of intervention and focus on early identification of changes in symptoms to avoid emergencies.
You’ll also support management and be responsible for keeping up to date records for each resident.
About the workplace
You'll often find registered nurses working in care homes to cater for anyone who requires around the clock care. These are often called nursing homes.
