Safeguarding is about protecting children and adults from abuse or neglect and educating those around them to recognise the signs and dangers.

You can develop your safeguarding understanding and knowledge by looking at safeguarding resources and case studies, the Wales Safeguarding Procedures and by completing the Group A safeguarding e-learning.

Complete the e-learning available on the Social Care Wales website to raise your awareness, anti-racism e-learning is designed to help you reflect on anti-racism and how it applies to your everyday practice, 'Can’t pass it on’ HIV (Terrence Higgins Trust Cymru) e-learning builds knowledge and confidence about HIV within the adult social care workforce in Wales.
