Volunteers and your future workforce event
Find out how volunteers can be part of the solutions to current staffing challenges.
Join Health Education England and Helpforce, for an online event on Wednesday 19 October, to find out how volunteers can be part of the solutions to current NHS staffing challenges.
This event aims to share with you details of the Volunteer to Career programme, which Helpforce has been running with over 25 NHS organisations. This programme is funded by the Burdett Trust for Nursing and Health Education England.
Early results showed that 70% of volunteers who completed the scheme have gone on to employment or further education related to health and care. This programme will significantly benefit your organisation’s workforce strategy and aim to share with you details of the programme, how it runs and success stories through this online conference.
Keynote speakers confirmed are below:
- Dame Ruth May, Chief Nursing Officer for England
- Bob Champion, Chief People Officer at Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust
- Kirsty Marsh-Hyde, National Programme Manager for Apprenticeship, Health Education England
