About the jobThe successful applicant will work alongside colleagues providing training to Cardiff Council staff and the wider social care sector delivering health and safety training (primarily the Manual Handling of People and First Aid).
Additional training may need to be provided if identified through the training needs analysis.
What We Are Looking For From YouWe are looking for somebody who has experience of working within the social care sector with a recognised, relevant health and social care qualification at a minimum of level 3 or equivalent.
The successful candidate will be committed to putting our citizens at the heart of the work that we do and will enjoy working within a fast paced, dynamic team.
We are looking for someone who is committed to their own learning and development and is willing to undertake further training opportunities when identified.
The ability to speak other languages, in particular Welsh, and Community Languages would be an advantage.
Additional informationThis post is part time and will work 18.5 hours per week.
